Ice Hockey/Ice Skating
So, my passion is Ice Hockey, most of you have probably heard of ice hockey. It's a game on the ice (obviously), in which you and your team have to try score against the other team using your sticks to hit a puck into the oppositions goals.
I've only ever played 1 or 2 games of Ice Hockey, but man it was fun, just the thrill of going around really fast trying not to get hit and score goals and hit others all at the same time.
I first started going Ice Skating at the start of grade 8, so almost 3 years ago now. At first I will admit I wasn't very good, but like everything else, practise makes perfect and after that first time I knew for sure that it wasn't go to be my last. I kept skating and after about 3 months I picked up my first pair of Ice Hockey Skates, the Nike Bauer Supreme 11's. (Picture Above)
I've learnt many tricks on the ice since I've learnt to ice skate, such as
Going Backwards
Crossing Over Forwards
Crossing Over Backwards
Hockey Stop
One Foot Hockey Stop
Heel Stop/Cross Heel Stop
Toe Stop Backwards
Eagle Stop
T-Stop One Foot
Backwards Stops
Drunken Sailor
